Emma and Isabelle together have more than a quarter of a century of experience focused on improving mental and emotional wellbeing. They are both passionate about exploring areas of selfcare. Emma and Isabelle are excited to be leading the Reclaming Me challenge to support you to create small incremental changes that will have a big impact on your life even if you only have a few minutes a day!

Are you busy? Overwhelmed? Have a vague recollection of who you used to be and would like to go back to being that person? Have a vivid recollection of who you used to be and want to avoid going back there at all costs? Have you experienced burn out or you’re at risk of burn out? Do you read this and think ‘well yes but I don’t have time/capacity/energy to actually do anything?’

You may be a mindfulness and selfcare expert or just be thinking about these things for the very first time. We welcome all!

Our parent organisation has been supporting mental and emotional wellbeing since 1994 through counselling and in person groups and workshops. We are passionate about supporting people to be the best version of themselves and we are good at it! Pre-covid we were talking about how we needed to find a way to get the work we do out to a broader audience and we were mulling it over. As we did, Covid happened and the need to take services online became the forefront of everyone’s mind. The Hidden World of You was born, so named because we want to help you discover, or rediscover, you and all of your potential!

If you have read this far then the Reclaiming Me challenge was written by Emma and Isabelle for people like you! We have created content that is short and easy to fit into your busy schedule, tips, tricks and tools that wont take a huge amount of time or energy to do and practice (and wont cost any money!) We know that when you take a whole heap of baby steps it moves you so much closer to where you want to be – even if you don’t know where that is right now. We will help you work it out!

This is a starting point, a kicking off point to help you on your journey to self care. An Olympic athlete doesn’t start at the Olympics, they start at Little Athletics or a local swim club. Think of us as your local swim club. In these 5 days we will give you the tools so you can get started. From there, the sky’s the limit and we can’t wait to celebrate your progress!


By joining, you will have access to a private Facebook group with guided videos for each daily challenge. 

This challenge is for you even if:

  • You don’t have any previous experience
  • You are always busy and don’t have much time

In this challenge you will learn:

  • How to incorporate easy ways of mindfulness into your day
  • How to find moments in time for self-care
  • Easiest ways to get connected, grounded, and centered
  • How to enjoy little things in your life
  • How to create sustainable habits
  • How to improve your overall sense of health and wellbeing
  • How to practice self-compassion
  • Overcoming the stigma that self-care is selfish

This challenge will give you a starting point with tools to make small positive changes so you feel connected, grounded, centred and enjoy all the little things that life has to offer!


With a background in psychology and health promotion, Emma is a passionate advocate for women’s wellness, mental health, leadership and balance. As well as being CEO of the parent group for HWY, Emma is an author, speaker, business, NPO and life coach, wife, mother and host of The Hidden World of Women podcast.

Isabelle is a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for a wide range of psychological areas including Neuropsychology, brain behaviour and thought processes. Her background in Psychology has provided her with unique insights and a different perspective, allowing her to approach problems with a holistic and human-centered solution.

Outside of work, Isabelle enjoys spending time at the beach, going on hikes, spending time with her two golden retrievers and is always looking for new and exciting opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
